Olongapo City received a Plaque of Recognition for being a Model LGU in the implementation of reforms under the Nationwide Streamlining of Business Permits & Licensing System in the Philippines Program for the year 2010 from the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI), Department of the Interior & Local Government (DILG) and Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc. (CLGCFI) during the 5th Recognition of Outstanding Central Luzon LGUs Implementing the Streamlining Program in the Issuance of Mayor's Permit held on 27 April 2011 at Holiday Inn, Clark Freeport Zone. Mayor Bong Gordon (3rd from right) and BPLO Head Neal Perez (4th from right) received the CLGCFI President Bellaflor Angara-Castillo (3rd from left) and Competitiveness Council Co-Chair Guillermo Luz (2nd from right).
